I got really inspired by Interview’s interview of Partners & Spade, ‘a sort of combo ad agency, creative consultancy, and art gallery boutique in a storefront on Great Jones Street in Manhattan’s NoHo’.
“If you really care about details, demonstrate it”
‘Seth Godin argues the Internet has ended mass marketing and revived a human social unit from the distant past: tribes. Founded on shared ideas and values, tribes give ordinary people the power to lead and make big change. He urges us to do so.’ So inspiring!
‘Hippy Shit is a bi-annual independently published pyschedelic field trip. Featuring contributions from the most inspiring creatives in the game.’ Nice!
Yesterday I came back from the New Talent Portfolio night and I was so happy to see so much new talent! It was a great mix of people with a huge amount of potential. They varied from being completely at the beginning of their career and creatives who already earned their spurs but just needed a little mentorship. Thank you Blend & Streetlab for this great opportunity for new talent! Looking forward to the next one.
I’m invited to be part of the ‘professionals crew’ at the New Talent Portfolio Night by Streetlab & Blend. So, if you’re talented, in amsterdam, and have this stunning creative portfolio, please hop by! Find more info here.

Some of the greatest creative achievements across all realms are a result of collaborations.
Whether in the form of partnerships, great team chemistry, or simply mentor-mentee relationships, collaborations help creative people and organizations push ideas forward. Collaboration spawns accountability and cross-pollination, two critical forces to meaningful productive creative output. “Going it alone” seldom works.

It’s an old post from gapingvoid but I was pointed on it by Dan and thought lets share it; Because it’s still relevant!

Merit can be bought. Passion can’t. 18. Avoid the Watercooler Gang. 19. Sing in your own voice. 20. The choice of media is irrelevant. 21. Selling out is harder than it looks. 22. Nobody cares. Do it for yourself. 23. Worrying about “Commercial vs. Artistic” is a complete waste of time. 24. Don’t worry about finding inspiration. It comes eventually. 25. You have to find your own schtick. 26. Write from the heart. 27. The best way to get approval is not to need it. 28. Power is never given. Power is taken. 29.
