Print Magazine invited 12 leading visual artists to create a design for a cause to be printed on tote bags. One hundred percent of the profits from these bags will go to the causes chosen by the artists. Now they are inviting you to submit your design as well! My old love Threadless recently collaborated with The New Museum in NYC to challenge artists to design a tee based around the theme New Art/New Ideas! The winning piece will be showcased in The New Museum Store as well as the Museum’s Look Book. The winner will also be sent to New York City for a special launch party (including flight + 1 night hotel stay) and receive $2,000 in cash.
All designs must be submitted before August 10th to be part of the exciting program. I’d say go create!

Hermès teamed up with Designboom for ‘les cravates par Hermès‘. A competition to design a pattern that could be either a re-interpretation of the Hermès classic patterns or something completely different. The deadline is august 05, 2009.
